Arts & Civic Circle:  Carpe Diem Arts and The Civic Circle are pairing together for this weeklong arts camp designed for children entering grades 3 to 5.  Learn the 7 Steps to Democracy, learn to play the ukulele, participate in songwriting and performance with hands-on visual arts projects sprinkled throughout the week. Camp location in Old Town Takoma Park; specifics will be sent with confirmation of registration.

Arts for Climate Action: A part of our Artists for Social Change series, this camp is for youth in grades 6 to 8. Explore issues around the environment and air quality, build an air purifier, play the ukulele, and collaboratively write songs and create visual art to promote change. Camp location in Old Town Takoma Park; specifics will be sent with confirmation of registration.

Spanish Immersion Arts Camp: Offered at the end of summer to help your child brush up on their Spanish before school starts, this camp is for children entering grades 3 to 5. Arts and crafts, games, baking, international song and dance, ukulele lessons & more! Predominant language spoken in camp will be Spanish. Camp location at Seekers Church, Takoma DC.

2022 Day Camp Fees  

$360 per week

Camps run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.  

$15/hr for before and after care of no more than one hour each.  Available for elementary grade camps only.

Online registration by Credit/Debit Card only. Financial aid is available. Email info@carpediemarts.org for more information. 

Campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle, ukulele (unless a loaner is needed), and wear comfortable shoes.

For the safety of campers and staff, everyone attending camp must provide proof of Covid vaccination.
