LINDA HARRIS AND DAVID COLE: A Musical Journey Along the Underground Railroad—Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Harriet Tubman
Linda Harris has been on an extraordinary journey, performing in the U.S. and abroad and celebrating her roots in folk and gospel, jazz and blues, while also writing and recording original songs. Her “Walks with Harriet Tubman” were written up in the Washington Post and the New York Times. David Cole began playing guitar at a young age. He has performed with Roberta Flack, Archie Bell, The Clovers, The Orioles, Percy Sledge, the Delphonics and more. He co-founded the group Main Street Blues which headlined in the first International Blues Festival in Paraguay, and has conducted a series of master classes relating “The History of the Blues and The Civil Rights Movement.” David was also a music teacher in DC Public Schools for 30 years! www.davidbcolemusic.com/
