Carpe Diem Arts serves the needs of the community for art-making and enjoyment. This program for adults will have periodic retreats and camps, designed to inspire your creativity in a safe space for discovery, discussion, and sharing.  

ADULT RETREAT

Creative Soul Retreat
June 5-7, 2026 

Spring will be in full bloom by June, and this weekend retreat will be designed to renew your creative energies. This weekend the hope is that your body, mind, soul, and sense of creativity will be nourished as you are inspired by beautiful nature, good company and good food. We know it can be hard to rest and recharge. This retreat gives space for self-led and guided creative art making in a beautiful and serene natural setting. 

Your Retreat Team:
Beth Brooks-Mwano (she/they) is the lead facilitator of this retreat and is so excited to make a nourishing space for folks to embrace their creative self, rest in inspiration, play, and be with others in intentional community and connection.

Sara Park (she/her) is our loving cook who enjoys giving through the art of making food and providing a space for authentic connection. 


This is a retreat is open to all, age 21+.  

This retreat space is nestled in nature; if you have accessibility needs, please contact Beth.

Retreat Information and Details

Warm weather retreat note - Outdoor activities will be available, weather-dependent.

Accommodations: 

Shared living space fosters personal connection and collaboration.

Two houses, privately owned, right on the waters of the Eastern Shore in Royal Oak, MD. Rooms may be booked as single- or double-occupancy.

Common areas: 

  • Brick House:  Sunroom with views for art making, resting, yoga, soundbath, fireplace and good conversations;  Shared cozy living room.
  • Cove House: Screened-in sunroom with amazing views; Shared cozy living room.

Maximum number of participants for this retreat is 14, plus our chef and our facilitator.

Rooms are first come, first served and can be booked as single- or double-occupancy. Please contact Beth Brooks-Mwano with any questions about accommodations. 

Meals: 

6 meals (including dinner Friday night) 

Hearty and healthy with a vegetarian focus (dietary restrictions are accommodated for – we want you feeling your best -- and must be communicated beforehand)

Cost: Activity fee $325 single booking; $520 double booking. 

Room prices as shown for the weekend. 

Total Price dependent on room selected and number of people you are registering (1 or 2).
